Shadows tremble in ghost shores.

Blue river fiercely
Combed; bloomed,
Through wind, awakening cold ash.

In the frail honey surf
Arching
Warbling yellow trodden ages, roads;

Water gushing, stranded sun
Upon
Me; and I, I am dizzy with

Light. With the humming wind,
Shadows
Tremble in ghost shores; shaky with

A breath. One breath—sea light
You’re
Shifting, lying down— unwrapped, despoiled

Smoke presuming at dusk
Coldly
Straying in a steeped extinction

Of shadows; the stones cut
Water
As seeds fall beyond faint darkness.

your poetry is so lyrical. as a matter of fact i think this would make for awesome lyrics to a gothic/death metal song with alternated growling vocals & operatic singing. \m/

Oh, wow! Thank you so much. 😀

That’s funny you think that because of two things. One being that I do listen to some songs with those genres, and two, for the sixth stanza, I did have the Pixies in mind, particularly “The Sad Punk”.

Anyway, thank you again for your kind comment!
