lies.

for the stars
i lie
diminish i see the moon
fled the rain, death
poising swiftly, & unspeaking,
a poet crows
spun a wind, shuttingyourbeauties
in the spring-said of earthindigo
my skin, I rise so no one
sees me
one woman
birth,subsumed
but eyes
I lie with themeasy.

  1. This may seem like a silly question. However why do you blend two or three words together (is this just to establish your style?). They aren’t really portmanteau words. I’m just learning new styles and linguistic forms, I’m just curious.

      1. Thank you so very much and it’s not a silly question at all. I’ve been reading more of E.E. Cummings’ poems and he does that, so I’ve been inspired by his style and what he combines even if the words shouldn’t be combined in particular, if that makes sense. 😀 I just love it and I like to see what I can create by that form. Thank you again for your lovely feedback, you are so kind. ❤ ❤
